Girls Talk Math campers work in groups to solve challenging problem sets covering STEM topics usually not encountered until college or even graduate school. Each group completes a different problem set and showcases the information learned through blog posts and presentations. 

Podcasts

Groups also research the life of a mathematician from a marginalized group whose work is related to the problem sets. They then write and record a podcast on their assigned mathematician. The purpose of the podcasts is to highlight the reality that people from all backgrounds have always been doing math and to learn about the difficulties successful mathematicians have faced and overcome. Additionally, by creating their own digital media, the campers have the opportunity  to share what they discover so others can learn about these inspiring hidden figures as well.
